Totemic Architecture
Its a bit of a push, but I love “totemic” as an adjective.
This loft conversion to a modern atelier penthouse uses a limited pallet, mostly of economic industrial materials, preserving exposed brickwork and a new glossy green floor unifies. The “experimental friendly” client, was only a pleasure to explore these potentials with and lead to a fruitful collaborate project.
A new kitchen with movable kitchen island with integrated hob and extractor acts as a pivot, cooking infront of family and friends, or wheeling it over to the beer full fridge for bachelor mode.
The end result attempt to create a some what familiar space with a little twist.
